Matthews Southwest along with its partner, Tribal Partners, has entered into a partnership with CN to develop the Calgary Logistics Park: Canada’s only intermodal business park. Home to Whirlpool Canada, Princess Auto and TDL Group, the 680-acre park offers fully serviced, build-to-suit sites for warehousing and distribution, with direct rail connection and quick access to all major highways.

Phase one of this $200M project is almost complete; Whirlpool Canada’s 422,000 sf distribution facility was completed in August 2018.

CN’s $200-million logistics park is strategically located between the ports of Prince Rupert and Vancouver and major cities across Canada and mid-America. The park’s intermodal terminal, along with very competitive ocean and rail transportation times, will provide Alberta businesses ample capacity for consumer goods and industrial materials and effective export routes for forest products, plastics and agri-products.
